2021年NEW ACCIDENT企画、キュレーテッドスペースNNで開催した個展にて発表。

これまで様々なシチュエーションで撮影されたスナップ写真を、ファンタジーやSF映画から受けたインスピレーションをもとに、異次元の世界や物語を想像し再構築することで作品制作を行ってきました。
本作は、サブタイトルの付いた5つの章からなる短編集のように構成された写真集です。これまで制作してきたZineのテイストも感じつつ、今までにないボリュームにより、作品をより深く静かに感じることのできる1冊となっています。

私にとって作品を作ること、写真に写し出されたものに対して想像を働かせることは、「注意深く目で触れようとする」とでも言うような、ひとつの愛着の形なのだと思う。
指の先のように、目の先にも集中力を持たなければ決して触れることは出来ない。
イメージにじっくりと手探りで触れることで私は彼らと新たな関わりを持ち始める。
それはもはや過去の事、瞬間的なものではない。
そうして私の周りにあった時間や場所を越えたものは新たなパーツとなって、 別世界への空想や、心の隅にある冒険心によって組み立てられ、
タイムトラベルや惑星旅行のように、ある時に新たな世界を紡ぎ出し始める。
それは永遠に感じられるような、あるいはもう二度と感じられないような世界だ。

I have been creating works by imagining and reconstructing other dimensional worlds and stories from snapshots taken in various situations and inspired by fantasy and science fiction films.
This work is a collection of photographs organized like a short story book consisting of five chapters with subtitle. While retaining the taste of the zines he has produced in the past, the unprecedented volume of this book allows the reader to experience his work in a deeper and quieter way.

For me, creating a work of art and imagining what is captured in a photograph is a form of attachment, a kind of "careful eye contact".
Like the tips of my fingers, the tips of my eyes can never be touched without concentration.
By touching the images slowly and gropingly I begin to relate to them in a new way.
It is no longer a thing of the past, a moment in time.
And so what has been around me, beyond time and place, becomes new parts, assembled by fantasies of other worlds, by the adventurous spirit in the corner of my mind,
Like time travel or planetary travel, at some point it begins to weave a new world.
It is a world that feels like an eternity, or that will never feel like an eternity again.
